Brigitte West and Robb Hollis will talk about some of the most interesting science the Beauty by the Geeks team have uncovered behind the cosmetic industry to date.

With a focus on the ingredients used in anti-ageing products, the pair will discuss the use of science in the beauty world and also chat about Beauty by the Geek’s educational work encouraging young people into science at a higher level.

Brigitte West and Robb Hollis are part of the team behind Beauty By The Geeks – a group set up to critically examine and review the scientific, or pseudo-scientific, basis to claims made by leading cosmetics manufacturers.

Besides taking apart the latest health and beauty products on the market, the pair run a number of courses based on their work, aimed at getting children and the wider public interested in science.
