How to fix poverty in Kansas City and the world: What we know and what we don't

Bring your laptop if you have one! This session will involve some active research & participation.

Come learn about what poverty actually looks like, how to fix it, and who's doing that most effectively in this interactive discussion and workshop. We'll be discussing global poverty, US poverty (specifically Kansas City), the most effective known interventions that reduce poverty, and what we can do about it - all through the Effective Altruism lens and research. We'll wrap up with a research activity on what we, as a group, could do to have the biggest positive impact on poverty.

As per usual, we'll be getting dinner after for those interested in joining for a more casual chat.
