Elastic 101 Workshop

Are you looking for a better way to analyze your logfiles? Instead of going to your machines through ssh and grep the files you can also use the elastic stack to have centralized logging.

In this night class we will show you how the elastic stack works and how you can set it up locally on your machine. Bring your laptop with a Java Virtual Machine installed (see https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/setup.html for version requirements). Windows, Linux and Mac should all work but we can best help with issues on Linux. All the other required software will be downloaded during the class. If you have some of your logfiles that you would like to search bring them along!
