Program

Plotting a Course from the Past into the Future by Robert Jackson

Change is hard. Migrating applications to use new paradigms is harder. Lets look at leveraging the things learned in Ember's own migrations to make app level migrations easier!

On the Bleeding Edge with Ember Engines by Kacey Coughlin

Working on the bleeding edge can be both fun and frustrating; you get all the new hotness as soon as its shipped, but sometimes that hotness has bed bugs. Troubleshooting weird issues you’ve never seen or dealt with before can be bewildering, but at the same time, you have the support of the awesome Ember community behind you. I’ll go over our experience with Ember Engines at LinkedIn, what issues we’ve encountered, and how we solved them (or hacked around it). From exporting styles to reworking unit tests, I’ll share the pitfalls we fell into so you don’t have to!
