Decentralized Prediction Markets: Joseph Bonneau, Augur, Fairlay

Joseph Bonneau (http://www.jbonneau.com/) will present a technique for decentralized prediction markets and order books, utilizing a block chain. He will give the advantages of decentralization and then turn to the proposed mechanisms, including trust agility: each market has its own specified arbiter and users can choose to interact in markets that rely on the arbiters they trust. Joseph is a post-doc at Stanford with Dan Boneh (http://crypto.stanford.edu/~dabo/).
