Lessons from TheDAO heist and the path forward

Details
Gustav Simonsson (https://twitter.com/classygustav) and Martin Koeppelmann (https://twitter.com/koeppelmann?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor) will give a comprehensive overview of the story of theDAO heist. Both have been following theDAO very closely. Gustav is involved in writing the code for one of the hard fork implementations that are a consequence of theDAO heist and is a curator of theDAO. Martin has written several posts analyzing what has happened (one (https://media.consensys.net/2016/06/24/the-dao-heist-faq/), two (https://media.consensys.net/2016/07/05/the-dao-heist-faq-part-ii/)).
After the history above, a shorter presentation will be given in favor of the proposed hard fork, and finally Elaine Ou (http://elaineou.com/) will speak against the hard fork. See her blog post (http://elaineou.com/2016/06/19/contracts-code-and-complexity/) from June on this topic.
