In the spirit of Startup Weekend, we're going to exercise our startup thinking muscles. Folks who come on Tuesday can pitch an idea for a startup. The idea can be something you've been researching or thinking about for a while, but not something you've worked on yet. You'll have 60 seconds to pitch to try and recruit other people to help you work on the idea. We'll form teams around the ideas that are pitched, work on them for ~90 minutes, and share the progress. What are the goals of something like this?
- If you've got an idea for a business, pitch it, and we'll throw a bunch of minds at it to help push it along and see if it has potential.
- Thinking like an entrepreneur is a learned skill, rather than an innate one. There's no better way to learn it than to do it!
- It's great practice for Startup Weekend!
- This type of exercise can be a great way to get to know a lot of your fellow entrepreneurs while having a ton of fun!
