Making a Difference for Animals: Leafleting the UO Campus

Join us for an hour (your lunch hour, perhaps?) or more in front of the student union on the UO Campus to hand out leaflets to students. We'll provide the leaflets, you provide the smile/friendly face.

Here's how/why you make a difference:

Ninety-nine percent of the animals killed in the United States each year are slaughtered for human consumption. When leafleting at a local college, at least one person out of every 50 who take a pamphlet will stop eating animals within two years (and many others will cut back on their animal products). Since this person is probably still young with about 67% of their lifetime left, you will have saved over 1,000 animals from exploitation, not to mention the ripple effect each new vegan has on society.

Even if you're new to leafleting, come out and join us. It's easy, fun, and students are receptive (and even grateful) to get the information. You'll feel great at the end of the day, we promise!
