About us
This is a hiking group for people who, like me, take life at a slow and steady pace. I love the outdoors, travel and hiking. Like the tortoise, I keep a steady pace and always get there in the end. Hikes will be mostly medium-length ( 2 - 6 miles) with elevation gains of under 1500 feet and a pace of book time +50%. Older people who have slowed down, younger folks who are just starting out, people who are overweight and want to get moving, people who are recovering from an injury, people who occasionally like to stop and take pictures or smell the roses...anyone who wants to take things at a slower pace. Hikes and other events take place all year round and in various locations!

WooSox Game at Polar Park - with fireworks!
Polar Park, 122 Madison Street,, Worcester, MA, USI will be away for opening day this year, but plan to go to the game on Friday, April 10. They're playing the Columbus Clippers and there will be music and fireworks after the game.
I have purchased a General Admission ticket ($7.50) which allows you access to the park and first-come, first-serve seating at various locations throughout the park. I usually try to grab a red stool on the first base line. You can walk around the park during the game and see it from different vantage points.
To get a ticket, go HERE . Click on the April 10 "BUY TICKETS" button, select the number of tickets you want and hit "DONE." Filter tickets BY SECTION. Scroll down to the bottom where it says "GENERAL ADMISSION". Then you can purchase your tickets.
Game starts at 6:05pm and I plan to be there around 5:15pm if not sooner. I'll be walking from my place on Vernon Hill. Text me on 720-273-3594 if you don't see me.
KIDS WELCOME! Please do not add them as guests, but mention in the comment.
