Potomac Native American Flute Festival

This is a wonderful Native American flute festival held in the Washington, DC area, one of two festivals within a reasonable driving distance from Rochester (the other being the SunWatch Flute and Art Festival in Dayton, OH in August). One great reason to go this year is the concert featuring two-time Grammy winner Mary Youngblood. A great proportion of the conference is dedicated to workshops. The festival is a combination of workshops during the day, and a concert in the evening, with a vendor hall full of wonderful flutes, and the option of scheduling private lessons. Registration is $130 through March 1, 2013, and $155 after March 1.
