What we're about

Anything weird, interesting, cool, or fun going on around Flagstaff? We wanna know about it and so do you! :) Share something you like to do for fun and find some new friends to enjoy the experience with! Activities to include hiking, dancing, happy hours, festivals, game nights, camping, BBQ's, concerts, monthly birthday celebrations, group trips, etc.

Have a great hiking spot that you enjoy going to? Found an amazing local restaurant that serves delicious food that most people don't know about yet? Know of a cool sounding festival or concert that's coming up soon? Join our group and Suggest a Meetup for it! Any member can! And check out what other members find interesting too. Maybe you'll find you enjoy something you never considered trying before. Every experience can be made better by sharing it with other people who are as enthusiastic as you :)

So whether you are planning a kayaking trip 2 months from now and wish you knew other people who wanted to go too, or just planning to hit the bar tonight and want to see who's in the same mood... This group should help you find what you're looking for!

Lets explore everything Flagstaff and Northern AZ has to offer. Our groups mission is to allow people to meet and socialize with out pressure, while doing something fun. You already know that whoever shows up at one of our events is of the same mindset as you... You're practically friends already! All you gotta do is show up and let it happen!

Snow shoeing/XC skiing

Fremont (Cheshire Park)

It looks like the Flagstaff area will be hit with moderate to significant snow this coming week. The Fort Valley Trail System is often a good place for XC Skiing and/or snowshoeing...without the Highway 180 traffic mess. We could either meet at the Cheshire Park or the "Y" at Schultz Pass Road and Mt Elden Road...depending on how much snow falls and if the roads/ parking areas are plowed.

Royal Arch Loop backpacking April 3-8,

Grand Canyon National Park

The Royal Arch Loop is the western most trail in the Grand Canyon National Park. This trip is about 38 miles over 5 days and includes a 20 foot rappel. We may have one or two dry camps where we have to carry the water. Multiple night wilderness and rappeling experience is mandatory. (You must know what to do with a 10 foot piece of webbing, locking D, and a figure 8.) The trailhead is at the end of a 30 mile dirt road. We may not be able to get there if it has been really rainy and/or snowy.
