About the food:

I tried Polka Restaurant recently and was enchanted by the delicious food. From pierogi to goulash, red cabbage, and soup - all the dishes I tried were fantastic.

Pierogi (derelye) are dumplings (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dumpling) of unleavened (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leavening) dough (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dough) – first boiled, then they are baked or fried usually in butter with onions – traditionally stuffed with potato filling (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filling_%28cooking%29), sauerkraut (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sauerkraut), ground meat, cheese, or fruit. Of central and eastern European provenance, they are usually semicircular, but are rectangular or triangular in some cuisines.

COST:

The average cost of a complete lunch per person is $20 plus drinks depending on how much food you order. Please bring CASH to cover your portion of the bill.
