What can trees do for you?
Time in nature improves our mental health,
Reduces stress,
Improves creativity,
Boost immune system,
Increased parasympathetic nervous system,
Decrease in the stress hormone cortisol.

Welcome to Shinrin- yoku. Forest bathing is the practice of emerging yourself into the forest and allowing nature to enter your body. All five senses will be focused on individually throughout the course of this journey. We will start with some light breathing to help us clear our mind from outside influences and instead, be present. It is recommended that electronic be put on silent mode. Light conversation is encouraged but please respect other bathers. After some like breathing, and one or two standing yoga poses, we’ll begin our journey. Throughout our walk I may pause the group so that we may all focus on one of the five senses. It is purposeful to close our eyes during these pauses, breathing and then re-Opening our eyes.

Suggested donation $0.00-$15.00, a fair amount of energy and time is put into these events as well as the cost of being on meetup.
