Simple Knitting DIY Gifts Workshop

Knitting Circle is weaving December's meetup into a fundamental knitting skills workshop that covers simple DIY gift ideas - just in time for the holidays!

Learn how to craft simple scarves, hats, bags, and more at this 3 hour workshop that will cover how to source project materials on a budget, wind yarn into a workable ball, start a project, time how long it will take to make it, and finish the project so it can be enjoyed by someone. We will cover how to make a scarf, hat, and bag and will also explore other knitting project possibilities for new knitters. No prior knitting, crocheting, or sewing experience is required to register for this workshop. It is intended for beginners and those interested in freshening up their skill sets.

For this workshop, attendees will receive a starter's knitting kit that will include:

• two sets of knitting needles (one circular set 7mm + one set 14mm)
• two skeins of yarn
• project cheatsheets
