Special thanks to the Target.com and Mobile team (http://www.targetrad.com/) for sponsoring our space and our lunch!
We are honored to have CJ Sinner teaching our 2nd Intro to HTML/CSS course. She's been dabbling in HTML since she was an editor at her college newspaper (The Minnesota Daily!). Her first big-girl job was as the online editor for the Bismarck Tribune, where those skills built on themselves as she taught herself to customize their website or story pages. Finally, she went to graduate school (for journalism) and took a course in Interactive Design where she finally became fluent in HTML and CSS and a little bit of JavaScript, built her own personal website (cjsinner.com (http://cjsinner.com/)) by starting with a blank text editor. She also built custom Tumblr themes and dabbled in Wordpress themes. Now, she works for the Pioneer Press in St. Paul doing some data reporting and visualization and sometimes building interactives or helping the web team customize something for their content management system. She also teaches data viz and interactive journalism to undergrad students at her alma mater, the U of M's journalism program.

This space is right downtown so we highly encourage you to take advantage of public transit. :) If buses and light rails aren't your thing there are parking ramps nearby. The Macy's ramp (http://www.parkmpls.com/directions/) is most convenient. There is street parking available (http://www.mplsparking.com/Includes/CurrentMeterMap.pdf) (some metered spaces are free on weekends, but they are a few blocks away).
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
