What we're about

This is a group for anyone interested to train in various methods of combat as set down by European masters between 1300-1800. All skill levels are welcome, only requirements are an open mind and positive attitude.

Historic European Martial Arts (HEMA) refers to martial arts of European origin, particularly using arts formerly practised, but having since died out or evolved into very different forms. The group will be training on Wednesday evenings, from 7~9pm at Scoil Einde, Dr. Mannix Road, Salthill.

(We also host two weekend training sessions per month, inquire for more details)

If you are unsure of what HEMA, WMA, or Longsword fighting really is, here are some helpful links to view:

If you still have questions feel free to ask using the links below, or better yet, come along to training! We are all very approachable, and quite happy to explain all facets of the arts we train in. :)
