What we’re about
Meet people, have fun and improve your English in a night out in a relaxed setting. A small group of English second language speakers at approximately the same level will meet up locally at a café to practice their English. I am a professional English ESL teacher.
I will organize and facilitate the conversation as a learning experience geared to help group members to develop their confidence and English language skills. There will be some themes to our evening discussions.
I will pre-screen potential members through an interview process to determine their level of English and to find out about their needs in English practice. There will be organized speech activities to help the conversation to be productive for learning. It is a pre-paid service with $10 as the fee per evening, usually paid in a block of two months ($80 at the beginning of the lessons). I will tell you exactly where and when to meet when I have a few people who are at the same level available at the same time. We will all buy a coffee, tea, or dessert at the café and enjoy an hour of relaxed, fun conversation in English.
This is a great way to accelerate your learning along with other classes or after you have taken some formal classes. I will make an announcement from time to time about the start of a new class.
