 My role is the F# language designer. In this talk I’ll informally discuss the techniques we use in the F# community to sustain and build community, including the role of the F# Software Foundation, how we help enable technical cooperation through the F# Community Incubation Space, how we collaborate with both community and enterprise contributors, and some of the challenges we have.

 Igor has been building all sorts of apps since good ol' MS DOS days, though Windows desktop development remained close to his heart. Passionate about user experience. In spare time Igor co-maintains Git Extensions helping developers around the world to embrace the power of git.

 In the talk I'm going to talk about the past, the present and the future of .NET Desktop development and what we are doing to continue to support it.
