Stanford Campus & Dish Loop Hike, 10 miles, 550' elevation

Summary:
Welcome to join me on a post- holiday walk/hike /tour. But I will give priority to the hikers who hiked with me before!
We will start from Stanford Shopping Center, walk through the Stanford University Campus and Arboretum and to the ridge of Stanford's Dish Hill, and return. On the way up, we will pass by Tesla Show Room, Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts, Campus, the Memorial Church, New Science and Engineering Quads, Stem Cell Center (checking Chihuly Chandeliers), Golf Course, Lake Lagunita, and Stanford Dish loop trail walk. On the way back, we will look for the Cynthia Fry Gunn Courtyard near Frost Amphitheater and Arboretum Grove and More.... We mostly hike on the exposed paved trails and flat roadway, will stop for lunch along the way, but not at a restaurant.
Caution: Vehicle in some places.
Parking and start point: Park at the Stanford Shopping Center near the American Girl Store or California Pizza Kitchen or Starbucks.
Best Entrance: Sand Hill Rd. Parking Lot is between Macy's Men's and California Pizza Kitchen. Parking is free.
Meet in front of Starbucks.

Pace: Moderate, 2.3-2.6 mph. we will stop for the pictures.
More information: If the museum and galleries and Hoover tower are open, you can visit them, but we aren't stopping for them.
Intended Hiking Route: Shopping Center Starbucks-Palm-Campus-Palm-
Lomita-Rodin Garden-Discovery-Hospital Area-Quad-Church-Lagunita-Dish Loop- Stanford Ave-Bowdoin-Library-Hoover Tower-Quad-Palm-return to parking lot.
Attention: I will adjust the route or using Plan B if there is heavy holiday traffic or road closure or constructions in campus!

Hiking organizers/ hosts are not professionals in this field and may occasionally get lost which will extend the time period for the hike. Hikers are required to stay with group for this special Urban hike!

Cancellation: Hike will be cancelled if there is heavy rain, but not for
drizzling weather.
