# 29th Annual Denver Cherry Creek Rotary Open
Tue Jul 15th
Bear Dance Golf Club, 6630 Bear Dance Dr, Larkspur, CO 80118, USA map

Over the past thirty-five years, the Denver Cherry Creek Rotary has raised and donated
more than $950,000 to support local and international charitable programs and projects.
That support has been leveraged by donations of time and medical supplies to provide
over $2.5 million of free dental care to more than 8000 of the poorest of the poor in
Central and South America.Responding to the mental health crisis, we made a significant investment with other local Rotary clubs in creating a permanent endowment to fund a mental health fellowship at Childrens Hospital. Other critical needs in our community that were addressed include food insecurity,
youth leadership training, and primary school literacy in cooperation with the Dolly
Parton Imagination Library Foundation. We have also provided financial support in the
form of application and testing fees for college-bound disadvantaged youths and rehabilitated apartments used to house battered women and their children. Additional local projects include
support for recent immigrants from Afghanistan, South America, and Ukraine. As depicted in the video, we conducted our twenty-sixth international dental mission. Although we were adversely impacted by severe weather during the eight-day mission, our club members and other volunteers were able to perform 543 dental treatments on children and adults delivering approximately $65,000 of free dental care.### Times
