Joint event with GDG Seattle. Our speaker will be presenting remotely via Google Hangout.
Are you interested in getting started with machine learning, and making intelligent apps with the most popular deep learning framework TensorFlow? Come to this talk to learn your various options: from using ready made APIs to training your own custom models. You will learn the end to end process of how to train a model with TensorFlow high level API tf.Keras, convert to a TensorFlow Lite model and deploy it to an Android app.
Topics covered in this talk:
- Intro to deep learning, TensorFlow and TensorFlow Lite
- Transfer learning using pretrained ConvNets
- Train a model from scratch and deploy it to Android for inference

Visitor parking at the Google building is located in front of the towers. Entrance is off of Pearl Street, just before Chase bank. There are only about 10-15 spots. Do not park in the Chase bank parking lot.
Additional visitor parking is available in the Google underground garage. Entrance is behind the Google buildings off 30th Street. Use the intercom, tell the attendant you are there for the GDG Boulder Meetup, and they will open the gate. Take the Building B elevator (closest to the entrance) to Floor 1.
