Volleyball Pickup - Recreational at LPHS - 7:00PM

This is the perfect way to get some recreational volleyball action without the commitment of a league. You'll play the whole time in this 2-hour pickup. Sign up by yourself or with friends. This event is meant for mingling! Come out and meet new people from all over Chicago. Our friendly Grab A Game host will check everyone in, create teams, and make sure everything runs smoothly.

This is a recreational skill-level game. This level is a little more loose about the rules and all we ask is that everyone plays to the best of their ability and is encouraging towards other players. We love good sportsmanship!

What to Wear
We are playing indoors on a wood floor. Most players wear volleyball-specific shoes, but gym shoes are also allowed. Please bring your shoes and change into them at the facility. This will help keep the floor clean of dirt and water.

What to Expect
Show up early! The games will begin at the time posted for this event. Players can start checking in with the event host as early as 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. If a court is available, you may begin warming up before the event begins.

Level of Play
This event is open to Recreational level players and higher. There are no referees, so players need to play with sportsmanship and make their own calls. We aim to make everyone feel welcome at these events, but the host may remove players who are clearly not at the advertised skill level.

Facility Information
Lincoln Park High School has two buildings with gyms. We will be playing in the small gym in the main building. The Main Building's entrance is located on the west side of the large building. Go up the stairs to the second floor. Go straight ahead to find the small gym and the main gym. The doors to the gyms will be on your right.

Transportation
There is plenty of free parking in the school parking lot on Armitage.

Minimum number of players and playing formats. This event needs a minimum of 8 people (not including the host) signed up before the start of the event in order to run. Sign up early to encourage more people to sign up!!

Requirement to play
This is an adult volleyball group. You must be 19 older. Males and females of all skill levels are welcome to play. There is no required gender ratio.
