For adult volleyball players of all skill levels, our group offers weekly events including pickup games, clinics, and mini-tournaments. Want to play without committing to an entire season? Our group is perfect if you're new in town, just visiting, or have been here for years and want to add a game to your schedule. Grab a Game is also a great way to meet other players or join a team. You will play with friendly people just like you who want a good game while having some fun and improving their skills. We look forward to seeing you on the court!
What can I expect with Grab a Game Volleyball?
We welcome new players every week and we love our regulars! A paid host at each event guarantees everything is well-organized and you get the most out of your playing time.
Whether it’s an open gym, clinic, or tournament, please feel comfortable signing up by yourself or with a friend. We work hard to create an atmosphere where you can have fun playing with a bunch of strangers.
Most of our events are open to all skill levels (from beginner to competitive) and we do a great job of creating even teams so that you don’t have to worry about all the beginners on one team and all the pros on another. We often have multiple courts where we can match you up with other players at your level.
Who is Grab a Game?
Grab a Game is a division of Chicago Sport and Social Club (chicagosocial.com) and is run by experienced and passionate players who have successfully organized leagues, tournaments and pickup games for many years. Chicago Sport and Social Club is the leading U.S. company that organizes, markets, and operates adult recreational sports and social events.

The Volleywood x Grab A Game Experience - Beach Volleyball Mini Tournament

Join us on the Beach for the GRAB A GAME x VOLLEYWOOD Experience. We're hosting a Mini-Tournament at North Ave Beach. You can sign up with a full team, friends, or solo. Teams will play a variety of opponents in a round-robin format. The team with the highest rank at the end of the night will be crowned champions. Player registers individually, but can request their teammates in advance. (This is not associated with The Volleywood Volleyball Tournament)
**Policies:**
1. Players must arrive at 9:30 AM to get checked in.
2. Players must participate in all scheduled matches.
3. Players will be carded, and bags are subject to search.
4. Any player who no-shows or arrives late will get their Volleywood Festival ticket revoked.
Failure to follow our policies will result in Volleywood Festival ticket being revoked. No refunds.

Wednesday - Volleyball Skills & Drills - Drucker Center

Are you looking to improve your volleyball skills? Join us on Sundays for a comprehensive training session that includes drills for passing, serving, setting, and attacking. This 2-Hour session will include skills and drills as well as a scrimmage game with light coaching organized by skill level.
Location: The Drucker Center is located at 1535 N Dayton St, Chicago, IL 60644. There is free parking in the lot and metered parking on Dayton St.
You'll be playing on a wood court. Most players wear volleyball-specific shoes, though they're not required. We prefer you bring your game shoes with you and change into them when you arrive to help us keep the court clean and dry.
