What weāre about
Do you want to overcome shyness and/or social anxiety? Do you want to practice social skills? Do you want to make good friends? Do you want to improve your life? Join this group!
This is a safe place with nonjudgemental people in a relaxed setting. There is nothing to hide or feel ashamed about. We all understand each other and can sympathize. This group is to help people make friends, practice social skills, and have fun while doing events.
We walk around parks, explore local events, chat over coffee/tea, go to restaurants, and do anything else that looks fun.
ItāsĀ okay if you donāt speak. Itās ok if you are nervous. Take the step forward to overcome it! Looking forward to sharing our stories and having a good time.

David's Birthday Party
Byron Center, Will figure out, MI, USHey everyone! My birthday is coming up this week, and I'd love to celebrate with you all at my place!
We'll have cake, pizza, and karaoke (don't worry, we'll keep it at a reasonable volume š).
Feel free to bring your own drinks if you'd like something alcoholic.
This gathering is for our regular group members.Parking info: I have space for 3 cars in my garage/driveway, plus room for 2 or 3 more across the street. If those fill up, there's a clubhouse parking lot up the streetājust a short walk away.
About gifts: Honestly, your presence and kind words mean more to me than anything else, so please don't feel any pressure to bring gifts!
If you'd like to chip in for pizza, there's a donate button here: https://internationalfriendconnection.com/
Looking forward to seeing you there!
I will email everyone my address on the day of the party.

Byron Center, Will figure out, MI, USHi Friends,
I'm having a birthday party at my place. Because Meetup's algorithm hides events listed in multiple groups I had to create this additional listing.
The party is open to anyone who has met me a few times. If you haven't please send me a message before signing up.

2 attendeesNeurodivergent Night @ Schuler Books
Schuler's Books and Music, 2660 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI, USA judgment-free zone for shy and neurodivergent people to connect authentically.
Please check in at the main table with the sign in the front of the bookstore and grab a name tag.
Are you tired of masking? Need a break from explaining yourself? This meetup is for adults with social anxiety, ADHD, or autism who want to be around others who just "get it."
IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Many people come once, get disappointed that they don't make a lot of friends on their first visit, and then never come back. Everyone who becomes a regular always ends up making a lot of friends.
## What to expect:
- No pressure to be "on" or perform social norms
- Understanding when you need breaks or fidget
- Conversations that can jump topics (we love tangents!)
- Acceptance of stimming, quiet moments, and your authentic self
## Our one rule:
This is our oasis from the outside world. Please bring kindness and leave negativity/conflict at the door.
We're here to build genuine friendships and community. While relationships have naturally formed, men attending solely to pick up women will be removed. We actively monitor for uncomfortable behavior to keep this a safe, pressure-free space for everyone.
This group is designed for individuals with low support needs who can attend independently.
Come as you are. You belong here.
Do you have social anxiety? Are you struggling with having conversations? Please feel welcome to see our original FREE classes here:
