Sauerkraut Demonstration

Hey all!
Hope everyone is enjoying this great weather we've been blessed with.
 I'm going to be doing a demonstration on how to make sauerkraut at the group picnic on the 14th. Being that I already am up to my ears in lacto-fermented vegetables, I have no need to make myself another batch.

If anyone would like to contribute a head of cabbage to this endeavor, they are entitled to a portion of the finished product to take home.

Also, was hoping to find out if anyone could bring a fold up table of some sort, maybe a couple of them if people want to follow along with the demo.

If you are interested in following along you will need to bring a wide mouthed jar and lid, a flexible lid that fits snugly within the jar (think cap of sourcream or yogurt container) a rock that has been sterilized (in hydrogen peroxide or bleach solution and rinsed thoroughly), a potato masher, a large plastic or stainless steel bowl, cutting board, knife, non-iodized salt, bottle of spring water and a head of cabbage. And if you have a fold up table, let me know and we can coordinate.

I'm not sure how many people are interested in this, if the response is overwhelming than I will have to limit the number of people who can contribute as I'm not sure how much space we have.
