Grosvenor Square Speakers is a public speaking club in Marble Arch, just off Oxford Street and seconds away from Marble Arch tube station. It's the place to be if you want to improve your presentation, communication and leadership skills in the heart of London.
We're located downstairs in the business centre of the stylish Cumberland Hotel and usually meet at least twice monthly, on the 2nd and 4th Monday, at 6.15pm. Approximately once a month we have members-only meetings at a more informal location and provide free pizza for everyone attending. Meetings last approximately 2 hours.
It's a fun and friendly club and visitors are given a warm welcome. Our members range from young professionals, to creatives, to university students to veteran speakers who have been at the club for many years, from many different nations. What we all have in common is a desire to become better leaders, presenters and speakers and to learn from each other in a supportive, energetic environment.
The club used to be located in Grosvenor Square and so its full name is Grosvenor Square Speakers Club. We are part of the Toastmasters International Community with more than 300.000 members worldwide, spread across more than 120 countries.
As our normal meeting date of the 22nd is a bank holiday we have moved to an exciting new date - the 29th for one month only!
Toastmasters is an amazing way to improve both your self-confidence and ability to express yourself in any context.
Come and join us for an evening of off-the-cuff impromptu speaking, prepared speeches, and evaluations.
If you are checking out the club and are not a member you are more then welcome to join in our Table Topics where you will get to speak for 2 minutes on a random subject!
We meet downstairs in the business centre of the Cumberland Hotel. Just look for the sign which points the way to our meeting room.
Members and guests find us in all sorts of ways in addition to Meetup. Expect to find at least 20 or so attendees per meeting, even if they haven't signed up on this page!
