What we’re about
Grosvenor Square Speakers is the first and original London club, established in 1980 and has been awarded the President’s Distinguished Club since 2009 which signifies a high mark of excellence from Toastmasters International. We encourage and support guests and members develop and improve their public speaking, communication and leadership skills. You can fulfill and maximize your potential by practicing and learning from everyone at this welcoming club.
We're located upstairs in the lovely Carpenter's Arms (12 Seymour Pl, London W1H 7NE), near Marble Arch Station and meet at least twice monthly, on the 2nd and 4th Monday, at 6.30pm.
It's a fun and friendly club and visitors are given a warm welcome and Grosvenor Square Speakers provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. Our members range from young professionals, to creatives, to university students to veteran speakers who have been at the club for many years, from many different nations. What we all have in common is a desire to become better leaders, presenters and speakers and to learn from each other in a supportive, energetic environment.
We are part of the Toastmasters International Community with more than 358,000 members worldwide, spread across more than 143 countries.
We currently include a wide range of initiatives that include regular speech and evaluation meetings, advanced educational workshops and exciting contests. Guests can come and enjoy our fun evenings and choose to further expand their Toastmasters’ education by becoming members at Grosvenor Square Speakers.
We really look forward to meeting you!
