Meet Amazing Data Women

This group is for women who work with and love data. Our goal is to bring together women who work in data or who would like work in data - to support one another, share experiences and talk data - big or small! Whether you’re a student just embarking on a career or a seasoned data professional, this group is for you. We want to connect and inspire amazing data women with diverse expertise and experience.

At this event, we’ll have more great talks from female data analysts, scientists and researchers so come along, ask questions and meet other women who love data!

Speakers:
• Zoë Stafford is a Senior Probation Officer in the Performance & Quality Team Of The National Probation Service North West. By day, she uses data to track, challenge and improve the way probation officers supervise offenders in the community. By night she’s a sax playing lounge singer, and shabby (but enthusiastic) amateur seamstress.
• Laura Kenny (https://twitter.com/this_lk) is an Idea Implementer at CLOS Consultancy, helping start-ups to scale up by adding features to existing software or building new apps from scratch. She also teaches coding on the TechReturners course, which provides resources, development tools, and creates fresh opportunities for people returning / entering tech after a career break.
• Agnes Altmets (https://www.linkedin.com/in/agnesaltmets/) is a sustainability advocate & data analyst. Trained as a sociologist, Agnes uses her excellent analytical and presentation skills, and knowledge and passion for environmental sustainability to help drive individuals' behaviour in a more sustainable direction. Agnes is currently a Digital Analyst at Auto Trader UK.
