Dear Everyone,

We would like to call your attention to an event which features two speakers, David Khourshid and Krisztián Hefinger. You can read details of their presentations below.

First presentation: Model-based testing in React

Presenter: David Khourshid, Software Engineer at Microsoft

Synopsis: In the form of a code demo, David brings a really interesting exploration into a new (yet old) way of automatically generating integration and E2E tests instead of manually writing them. During his presentation David will also cover some Azure services in practice.

Second presentation: Serverless Azure applications and Security Opportunities

Presenter: Krisztián Hefinger, IT Solutions Architect at IT Services Hungary

Synopsis: Starting from an example architecture of a modern Serverless app and a SPA frontend on Azure - we dive deep in the following topics:
- What are the differences between the Storage Account and a classic file share?
- Why do we love Azure Functions? How is it better than using virtual machines?
- How can we benefit from a globally distributed database like CosmosDB?
- What authentication solutions can an Azure environment provide us?
