What we're about
Other Queens meetups seem to meet right outside Manhattan (LIC, etc) and other Nassau County meetups seem to meet by Suffolk (Massapequa, etc.) This meetup is great for those who want to meet somewhere in the middle. Deeper into Queens( Bayside, Floral Park, Forest Hills, etc )and right into Nassau County (New Hyde Park, Garden City, Mineola, etc.) Membership is free and open to those 21 and older who want to hang out, relax and have fun in Queens and Nassau County. We will try to organize various types of meetups: dining, bars, wine enthusiasts, beer enthusiasts, brunch, movies, outdoor activities, indoor activities, ladies’ night, boys night out, local tours, singles’ night, couples’ night and family days. Members – if you’re from any part of New York…you’re a local. We are open to singles, couples, families, etc. We are an everybody group!.....We were also on TV!

How else is it similar/different from Traditional Speed Dating
One on One dates:
We will break participants into pairs of two, just like we do with traditional speed dating. You will get to speak to each dates for a specified amount of time (typically 4-6 minutes). After the specified number of minutes, the guys will rotate to the next date and the process continues.
Just like with traditional speed dating, at the end of the event you will be able to let us know who you were interested in. We will send you both mutual matches (you picked them and they picked you) as well as one way matches (they picked you but you did not pick them).
## You are given 20 minutes from the end of the event to let us know who you are interested in and will receive the results the same night (usually within one hour) or the next morning. You will not have to wait 24 hours or more to get your results.
How many potential dates will be there?
## The minimum number of potential dates will be 5 and the maximum will be about 15. If for any reason there were less than 5 members of the opposite sex in attendance, you would get credit for a future Virtual event.
How do I find the Virtual Room?
After you purchase your ticket, you will get a confirmation appear on your screen along with the zoom link for you to use to log in.

Muttontown is Nassau County's largest nature preserve and one of the most beautiful settings on Long Island. The Muttontown Preserve is cobbled together from three separate estates. The Nature Center and Chelsea are located on a 100-acre parcel donated by Alexandra Moore McKay. An additional 400 acres were purchased from the Lansdell Christie Estate, including the original Winthrop Mansion. A 20-acre parcel donated by Mrs. Paul Hammond contains evidence of the pre-Revolutionary Duryea Farm. The ruins of the mansion once owned by King Zog of Albania can still be viewed in the wooded area just north of Muttontown Road.
King Zog, the last monarch in Albania, remains one of the preserve's curiosities. Zog, who fled Albania after the Italian invasion of 1939 and lived in England, Egypt and France in the years after, acquired the 150-acre Knollwood Estate at Muttontown in 1951. The estate included a magnificent 60-room granite mansion originally built for Wall Street investor Charles Hudson in the early 20th century. But Zog never moved to the U.S. and sold the estate in 1955 to Lansdell Christie (Zog died in France in 1961). As the mansion lay abandoned, rumors began to spread about riches King Zog had hidden in the mansion's walls, with the natural result that vandals soon descended on the property. The Christie family had the mansion demolished in 1959.
