Evil. What is it? Does it exist?

Evil - one possible definition is this: "profound immorality, wickedness, and depravity, especially when regarded as a supernatural force." What is your definition?

Does evil exist? Explain. Does evil exist apart from man? That is, does evil exist in nature without man's role?

Is there an absolute or objective evil? That is, is there a universal evil or is evil only relative.

What is the opposite of evil?

Have you ever experience evil?

Nice discussion, but not many people.

Evil is contrary to all that is good. If you have a cure for a thing you will let a man die if he has no money to pay you. If I tell the truth based on proof, another having no proof calls you a lie, and all liers uphold the lie as proof, seeing these are all the same.

For this and all meetings, we have three core rules:

    1. Mutual respect for each other at all times

    2. Always seek the truth no matter where that leads

    3. Stay on topic

Note that this is not a group for those that KNOW that they have the answers to the hard questions. Rather, this is a group for those that have hard questions, like to ponder possible answers to such questions, and/or want to see how their possible answers stand up to some hard scrutiny.
