We're back for a March meetup! As mentioned at the last meetup, please remember to bring hardware to show off. But if you are here for the talks, we have some good ones planned!
This month we are pleased to welcome Joe Menard who will be giving a talk titled "Consumer goods? I'll build my own (IoT)". This will involve details around building dedicated connected devices throughout his own home. These devices require a range of skills, including 120VAC SMPS, board layout, enclosures, feature creep, cloud using Particle and mis-adventures in Android & Javascript. There will also be focus on how to design enclosures for your next design.
We're also pleased to welcome Monk Funkster, who will be giving a talk titled "Synth-Popping: Looking Under the Hood of Analog Synthesizers". This will involve a discussion on the basic circuits/building blocks of analog synthesizers. Monk is an electrical engineer by day and musician by night; he loves combining those two passions whenever possible.
As always, we welcome attendees to give 2 minute talks about their projects and companies (please see the organizers to get set up when you arrive).
Food and beverages will be provided, you bring the discussion about hardware (or whatever else you're passionate about).
Look forward to seeing you all there!
