December Hardware Startup Meetup at Target Open House
Hey Hardwarians! Ready for another SF Hardware Startup Meetup!? This time around we're sponsored by the folks at Target's Open House. Target Open House is a connected home lab in San Francisco that introduces visitors to the potential of connected lifestyle technologies. The interactive space is regularly updated and allows guests to experiment with products before purchasing. Open House is also used as an event space that hosts discussions and presentations with a focus on innovation within consumer IoT (Internet of Things.) Demos & Announcements Jump up and demo if you've got a prototype to share with your fellow Hardwarians or if you just want to talk about what you're working on. Format: 2 minutes maximum (hard stop), no projector, no slides - just you, your prototype, and a microphone! Thanks to Volunteers Gui, Beau, David, Ryan, and Dhivya are helping run this event and working hard to make it a smash hit. Let's show up with smiles and praise for this brave group of volunteers!

    What we're about

We all know the Bay Area has tons of software meetups, but where's the hardware love? We're bringing together anyone who interested in building a business in the world of physical products: from company boards to organic soap. The purpose of the group is to start to build the hardware startup community by: bringing people together, bringing in experts in the fields of hardware & form entrepreneurs who've done it before, and also to build a better picture of the hardware scene so we can all find the resources we need to make this happen.
