SF Hardware Startup Meetup @ IDEO SF

Details
Happy belated New Year SF Hardwarians!
It's that time again for another Hardware Startup Meetup, and this time we're in for a treat: world-renowned design firm IDEO is going to be hosting us in their SF Embarcadero location!
We'll be doing our regular program with hardware demos starting at 6:15pm SHARP, and then general networking until 8pm. Also, there's not a ton of parking around there, so public transit is advised.
DEMOS: If you want to do a demo, fill-out your company / project info on this spreadsheet under the "Feb 7, 2013" tab: SFHardwareMeetupSheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvKBkB2iZuisdGRKMFF4TGo5bUNXVGI5Wkl0T1dZU3c).
Shout-Outs:
Some interesting news from some of our members:
Renee DiResta has taken The Maker Map (http://themakermap.com) to a functional v1.0 that we can use. If you remember, a while back we had a special Hardware Hackathon to make a map of local resources: suppliers, service providers, etc. Shortly after, Google changed a bunch of stuff, and it needed an overall. I'm happy to report that it is now up-and-running! Thanks Renee!!! Look out soon for news of another hackathon to make it even better.
If you're a front-end web developer, you can be INVALUABLE to this project - let us know if you'd like to build a simple nav interface for the map. Also, if you want to submit a resource: go here (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dFFZc2hBY1h3M3hPM1B2bVphZmhsY0E6MA#gid=0) (be sure to see if we already have it).
Check out her write-up for more info: The Maker Map MVP Goes Live (http://blog.noupsi.de/post/41215533372/the-maker-map-mvp-goes-live) David Lang also had a successful Kickstarter for his "Zero to Maker" book (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1818704744/zero-to-maker-a-re-skilling-guide-for-new-makers) that is a guide for people just getting into making - still going if you want to get a copy. As always guys, thanks again for your support of this movement, and let me know if there's anything you want to help with (I could totally use help with this group).
See you at the Meetup!
- Nick
