Hardware Startup Meetup SF @ Langton Labs

Whoa - it's been too damn long since we had a Hardware Startup Meetup! But wait no longer - it's on! This Thursday, 6pm, at the lovely Langton Labs in SOMA (9 Langton St.).

There's one problem: we still need a sponsor! Do you know anyone who wants to support the hardware community with some potent potables? LET ME KNOW!

Also:

IF YOU WANT TO DEMO YOUR HARDWARE AT THE MEETUP, ADD YOURSELF TO THE DEC. 6TH SHEET HERE!

There's been a ton of activity in hardware startups over the past few months:

  • Check out the 10 hardware startup meetups & over 2600 members
  • We've got another Hackathon coming up soon for TheMakerMap.com - I know it's broken, that's why we need a meet up! ;-) Tell me if you want to come out to help put local hardware resources on the map! Hackers also needed for some much needed UX work!
  • We've got our Hardware Startup Panel approved for SXSW, and also it's looking like we'll get primo space for a SXSW International Hardware Startup Meetup - let me know if you want to demo to the world of hardware startups!
  • Reddit.com/r/HWStartups has been growing really well, I really think this is the best place for hardware startup news/discussion. Check it out!

Let me know if you're interested in any of the above, or you just have something to say about hardware startups!

See you at the meetup!

- Nick

No jellyfish at Langton, but was great to catch up with the Hardwarians after a long break. I'm continually inspired by the great projects and companies going on here. 3 electric bike companies!
