Let's Talk Tech
Lets meet and talk tech! We're meeting again at the Odd Fellows Sycamore Lodge on B St in Downtown Hayward! It's the building with the "IOOF" on the front, and the 3-rings sign on the back. Entrance through the rear parking lot (free parking, and close to BART.) There's a fence - we'll open the gate. More info about them at Entrance is up the stairs. I'll put up a sign. There's also an elevator, but will need to contact me so I can unlock it. We have an HDTV for use for presentations. Please let me know if you want to present anything, or just let us know at the start of the meeting. Whether you're into open source computing, programming, DIY electronics, 3D modeling and printing, or just making neat stuff and finding (or making) places and gear to do it, come and bounce your ideas, projects and hiccups off of other creative- and tech-minded people. If you've got something you've put together and want to show it off, so much the better! We operate as a do-ocracy. You're encouraged to use us to host your own meetups. I'll add you as a co-organizer, just ask! This Meetup is open to all ages, and gets together every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. We're looking forward to meeting you!

What we're about

We are a group of techies, makers, programmers, and entrepreneurs bringing together the tech & maker community in the Hayward and surrounding areas. Many of us are professionals and hobbyists in software development, IT, and electronics.

Our goals include starting a non-profit hackerspace, coworking and community event space in Downtown Hayward. We'll be operating out of the new Downtown Hayward Library starting November 2018.

It's fun working on tech projects. Are you an entrepreneur looking to create a startup? Do you enjoy tech and making things, or just curious and would like to learn something new? You should join us!

Our operating philosophy is that of a do-ocracy ( This means if you want something done, do it, but remember to be excellent to each other when doing so. It also means don't just be a passive consumer, but be an active participant and leader. I encourage you to make use of this meetup group to host your own topic-specific meetups, and will gladly add you as a co-organizer. Just ask!

All are welcome to join our meetings. We currently meet every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month.
