PROVIDED BY HOST:

  1. Downstairs room (400 sq feet) with bathroom.
  2. 5 long tables, 35 chairs.
  3. 15 wall plugs, with some extra power strips (but still bring one with you, just in case).
  4. Lunch and refreshments.
  5. If weather permits: back yard access (with additional outdoor plugs).
  6. Ample free street parking.
  7. Free WiFi access.
    ____________________________________
    PROVIDED BY GUESTS:
Your own audio gear to share with others (headphones, IEMs, DAPs, AMPs...).

For first-time participants (like me), if you're wondering what to bring, to ensure you can mix-and-match combinations of headphones, DAPs, and amps, here are some possibilities:

Adapters:

  • 1/4" stereo male to 3.5mm stereo female adapter (to connect an IEM to a 1/4" headphone jack)
  • 1/4" stereo female to 3.5mm stereo male adapter (to connect a headphone to a 3.5mm headphone jack)
  • 3.5mm to 2-male RCA adapter cable (to connect your Android phone to an amp with RCA inputs)
  • Male TRS (6.35mm, maybe also 3.5mm) to male 4-pin XLR (to use a balanced cable with an unbalanced amp)
    Audio source:
  • DAP
  • No DAP? Connect a USB OTG cable to your laptop or phone. Not great, but better than nothing.

Obviously, you don't need to buy all this stuff; just bring what you have.

Regarding your audio source, it's a good idea to preload some tracks on your audio device, just in case there's any internet problems during the event.
