Drivers: Please state your pickup point, and whether you are staying for refreshment/dinner.
Click here for carpool cost estimate (https://www.meetup.com/HighParkHikingClub/pages/23513140/Carpool_Cost_Calculation/)
Some cars/locations might cost more, please check with your driver.
Note: Please refrain from offering/requesting rides before committing on going to the hike. Cancellations cause confusion to everybody. If there is a remote chance that you cannot go, please withdraw 48 hrs before the event.
After the hike, we usually go for refreshment. Sometimes we even stay for dinner. If you must rush back to Toronto after the hike, please make it known at carpool time, so that we can group the drivers and passengers together.
I propose Copperworks Brew Pub Restaurant, (http://copperworksbrewpub.com,[masked]) at 7 Division Street, Bowmanville. This is the former Maddy's Pub & Restaurant. It seems to be getting good reviews.
We have a pub list now. (http://www.hphc.ca/ApresHike.html)
Hiking is a dangerous activity; each participant agrees to assume his/her own risks. If you are new to hiking, please start with a Level 1 hike. (http://hphc.ca/HikeRating2.html)
Hike leader's decision is final.
See you on the trail.
