Guided Wildlife Tracking Trek

Join the Laurentian Lakes Chapter of the North Country Trail Association as they snowshoe 3 miles on the North Country National Scenic Trail at Hubbell Pond Wildlife Management Area (NCT trailhead parking area -- 36167 St. Hwy 34, Detroit Lakes MN 56501). This free, family-friendly event is designed to learn more about winter wildlife on the nation's longest hiking trail. Rob Baden, local DNR Wildlife Manager, will be on hand to share his knowledge.

A limited number of snowshoes will be on hand for people to borrow. This will be a guided winter hike if there is not sufficient snow for snowshoeing / skiing.
