This Meetup group serves the volunteer-based chapters within Northwestern Minnesota with the goal of building, maintaining, and promoting the nation's longest hiking trail within that region of the State.

Spruce Hill Park is a new addition to our little known hiking locations in our region. Spruce Hill Park is a Douglas County park near Miltona MN. Its cool wooded trails meander along the babbling Spruce Creek making for a tranquil hike on a Sunday afternoon. The main trail has several side loops that provide for more room for exploration.
After the hike we will gather for hiking stories and refreshments at Lura Lakebar in Alexandria. Come try out this new hiking location with other hiking enthusiasts.
