Details
DUE to SNOW Forecast - We're changing to a Tramshoe - forecasts are for 12" to 24" of new snow at the summit. REMEMBER TIME CHANGE - so 8am Tram is "7am 'old time...'"
http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/9/c/0/c/event_20439948.jpegWe will choose the route depending on snow conditions. More than likely we will take Sid Davis to Ranger Overland to the Miller cutoff. Round trip will be about 7.5 miles. If there is enough snow, then we will be able to go west straight up the Miller Saddle.
This is an advanced hike. Please sign up only if you are comfortable using snowshoes.
Also, bring Microspikes, along with poles and winter clothing. You must bring all hiking Essentials.
At the conclusion of the event, should you not return with the group for any reason, please text that you have returned to the Mountain Station safely as soon as cell service is available at: 760-832-0579 or Jack's cell at: 954-931-6414 - please be sure to provide your name and who you're covering by your report.
