Strawberry Peak (6,164') is the highest peak in the front range of the San Gabriel Mountains. Located at Red Box and Angeles Crest Highway-SR 2.
Join the Forest Committee’s San Gabriels Trails Crew to help restore this historic trail damaged by the 2009 Station Fire and subsequent erosion. This area is closed to the public until the trails are rebuilt.
As a volunteer you will see first-hand the cycle of fire and recovery. There are small and medium sized tasks, something for all. One-half mile of trail rebuilding until we reach the summit. Let's get it done this weekend.
