Needs a location

The reason this hike and the weekend will be special is because we will be the first ones hiking through those, hope to be, the new hiking trails in Death Valley.

I have been privileged to be able to hike some amazing places in Death Valley, thanks to my buddy/mentor Scott Swaney. Scott has taken me some incredible places in Death Valley no one had been these places other than a few he has taken along. We went to those places for first descent canyoneering and I was thinking why not hike some of those canyons that could be easily hiked with some scrambling adventure, without all the gears required for canyoneering.

So, I am going over some of the trails that I have been to, and checking them with Scott to make sure we all can hike without any problem or special gears. I intend this trail to be the best hiking trail in Death Valley; which is in need of good hiking trails. So, we will be the first ones ever to hike this trail.

Some of the locations, we are looking at, will range 14 to 17 miles with about 2,600' to 4,000' Elevation Gains. On the second day, we will likely visit the sand dunes and special areas of Death Valley. Or, depending on what majority wants we can even throw in another hike or canyoneering. We have three potential places to camp and exact camp location will be posted closer to the event day once the hiking location is pinpointed.
