When everybody else goes back to cars and noise and towns... we stay on the mountain!
Experience this amazing feeling as we will stay 3 nights high on the mountain in a beautiful, well equipped mountain hut right at the ski slopes! A perfect place for skiing, snowboarding or other snowsports (see below). On Christmas Eve we'll enjoy a majestic artisanal cheese fondue (or vegan dish if you prefer) in our mountain cabin (that we have just for our group). And we'll sleep in that same cabin, so that we wake up every morning with an unspoiled sunrise and we'll be the first to hit the slopes again!

We will be in the St.Luc/Chandolin ski resort in Valais, close to Sierre. A medium sized ski resort with lots of blues and reds, one or two blacks and a couple of ungroomed ski routes. The village is at 1.950m altitude; our hut at 2.300m and the highest ski lift goes up to 3.000m !

If you're not into skiing or snowboarding: the cabin is right at a 4 kilometer long toboggan run and there are hiking and snowshoe-hiking possibilities as well.

Our hut has decent toilets and showers and electric heating. We will sleep dorm style in simple bunk beds. Because of COVID protocols, we will use only every second bed so there is always enough distance.

The cost for this trip is CHF 285 / EUR 265 per person for 3 nights (4 skiing days). This covers dinners and breakfasts, the rental of our private hut, and tourist taxes.

I will ask you for an advance payment because I have to confirm the booking of the hut. Should I cancel the event, you will get a full refund. Should you cancel your participation, I will give you the full refund if I find someone else to take your place. If you cancel in the last 7 days before the event, I will deduce EUR/CHF 30 from the refund.

Gear can be rented at at sports shop at 750m from the chair lift/meeting point.

By the way, I set 11:00 as meeting time because that is when the bus arrives that you would take if you're in the 7:02 train from Zurich. If you want to start earlier, that's fine as well, we'll meet you at the cabin or you simply ski down to the meeting point. It's also fine if you want to arrive later; I'll meet you at a clear meeting point.

At this moment, there is a restriction in Valais on group sizes: max. 10 people in a group. This means that we will split into 2 groups of max. 10 people. The hut is big enough to accommodate this. In general the event will be set up in a way that is fully compatible with laws and restrictions.
