Tour The Painted Churches near Schulenburg, TX

This is an organized, docent lead tour (thus the fee) that I have taken before, but for those of you who have not, these churches are historic and very beautiful.
The plan is to meet at the Original Kountry Bakery, 110 N. Kessler (Hwy 77), Schulenburg, TX, at 8:00 am to grab a kolache and coffee. At 8:45 am, we will caravan to the Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce to pick up our tour guide/docent who will tell us some of the history of these churches. The tour includes 4 (four) churches. We may also make a stop at "The Piano Bridge".
The fee of $15 pp will benefit the Schulenburg CoC, Painted churches' maintenance and includes a tip for the tour guide. I will make payment that morning (which is why you are pre-paying here.)
Travel time is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Houston to Schulenburg.
If you would like to car pool, we can meet at Sams' Club, 20424 Katy Frwy (between Fry Rd and Westgreen Blvd) between 6:00-6:30 am.
Please let me know if you want to car pool. If you are willing to drive, let me know that, too.
Those who would like to drive on their own, meet us at Original Kountry Bakery by 8:30 am or Schulenburg CoC, 618 N. Main Street by 9 am. (If you are late, we leave without you....)
Things to bring:
Comfortable shoes, tripod, camera, wide angle lens (for indoors), snacks (if you get hungry later)
