Photowalk: Rice University - Lovett Hall

We've worked with Rice University to have the opportunity to host a first-ever Photowalk there.

While there are many beautiful structures at Rice, we're limiting the first one to Lovett Hall. Please note that we'll be photographing the exteriors only. Rice University has asked that we shoot outside only (i.e. do NOT enter the buildings).

We;'ll meet at the entrance of Lovett Hall. Tripods are recommended. Because some of the walkways are marble, please make sure the feet on your tripods are in good repair.

Since this is our first time at Rice, we're limiting the group size to 20 people. We want to make a good impression with Rice University and their campus police (who are aware we'll be there).

For those that are interested, Rice University does have specific guidelines for using their facilities for portrait photography (https://portraits.rice.edu/). This does include registering, paying a $50 annual fee, plus $50 for each shoot that you schedule there.

Parking: Recommend that you park across Fannin at Hermann Park (free) given that parking costs at Rice University will cost you $12.
