Are you considering quitting your day time job and starting your own business? Do you dream about owning your own cafe, bakery or restaurant? Are you ready to take the leap?
In 2016 I took the leap and opened a coffee shop in London called Frequency. I quit my job as a music teacher, used up my savings, borrowed money from the bank and just went for it. The experience has been by far one of the most challenging and rewarding things I have ever done.
Now, after 3 years of running Frequency and lots of lessons learned, I am very proud that we are rated amongst the best coffee shops in the city by The London Coffee Guide and humbled by the wonderful reviews we have received over the years.
This group will be useful to anyone that is thinking of starting their own business, or has recently started one. Although the focus will be on coffee shops I believe the experiences and lessons will be valuable to all entrepreneurs. I will share my journey and shine a light on all the obstacles I encountered along the way.
The aim of the group is that we share ideas and improve our understanding of what it takes to start and run your own business. We will host a variety of events and talks where we can all learn and network.
I look forward to welcoming everyone and sharing my story and experiences and learning about yours!
