2022 HCCO Summer Picnic

Please join us for our annual Summer Picnic, one of the largest events that HCCO hosts all year!

DATE:

Saturday, August 13th, 4:30PM-9:00PM. You may stay at the Lakeside Pavilion until 9PM, but cleanup will start at 8:30PM to make sure we are out of the shelter by our designated time.

LOCATION:

Lakeside Pavilion at Homestead Park, 4675 Cosgray Rd, Hilliard, OH 43026.

WHO SHOULD COME:

Everyone! We have a shelter reserved and plenty of tables! Feel free to bring family & friends! This is the perfect opportunity to meet others, make new friends, and have fun at a laid back summer gathering!

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

Food! HCCO is using a potluck planner at this link. Check what other people are bringing and submit your own contribution! (Note: NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED) Remember to clearly label all ingredients in the foods you bring so that those with food allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions know which foods are okay to eat. ·

WHO DO WE RSVP TO?

RSVP the number of people attending to our Meetup event. This helps us to know how many people to plan for when we buy supplies.

COST:

There is no admittance cost. But you can help us pay for the picnic by supporting HCCO in one of two ways:

1. Join as a member or renew your membership with HCCO. There are several levels of membership, choose the one that best fits your budget. Join online at this link.
2. If you’ve already joined HCCO, or would like to just donate, click here. Suggested donations start at $10, but we’re happy to accept more!

Any contribution helps with operating costs, and makes HCCO bigger and better!

ACTIVITIES/ENTERTAINMENT:

The shelter house is located in a local metro park with a pond, trails, and a beautiful outdoor area to socialize and play in.

Attendees are invited to bring games to share with the group!

VOLUNTEERS:

We’ll need assistance with the following: setup, tear down, greeting attendees, and grilling. Email Randall at randall@hcco.org to volunteer!

PETS:

Pets are welcome in this park, but they must be kept leashed, and be sure to clean up after them.
