ASH UU Topic: The Changing Views on Adoption

ASH is Atheist, Skeptics and Humanists of First Unitarian Universalists of Columbus Ohio

Our speaker will be Margaret Wilmeth who will give us the story on changing views on adoption. A generation ago an out-of-wedlock child was cause for guilt and shame. Laws at that time would not permit children to seek information about birth parents and vice versa. Times have changed, but ethical considerations remain for exploration.
