What we're about

(IWTDT!!JNA for short)  We are a group of fun/adventure/laughter seeking folks of all ages. Ideal for both CO natives and transplants. All are welcome.

Activities are varied and include hikes, dining out, art, shows, volunteering etc, as well as activities that take you off the beaten path along the front range and beyond. With multiple event organizers we get a wide variety of fun events that we all want to participate in...just not alone.

FINE PRINT: Not liable for injuries or death if you engage in dangerous activities while with us.

Happy Hour at Strange Craft Beer Co

Needs a location

The goal is to find seating outside as this place offers a spacious outdoor biergarten garden. They also have food trucks.

Strange has become a destination spot for Colorado beer drinkers and taken home multiple awards, including four Great American Beer Festival medals and two World Beer Cups. Despite expansion to a 10 BBL brew house, owner Tim Myers is committed to small batches and refers back to their nano roots with One Barrel Wednesdays for experimental brews.

Fine print: By signing up for this event, you agree to take sole responsibility for your own safety and absolve me of any liability.

Sky Dive!

Needs a location

Tandem skydive time! Mile-Hi Skydiving Center is one of the top places to skydive in CO. I’ve been before and the experience was incredible!

Please only rsvp if you are serious about going.
There is a weight limit of 225lbs. Comfortable clothes and shoes with laces required.

When it gets closer, I can coordinate about reserving as a group which might get us in faster.

Adventure Golf & Raceway

Needs a location

Channel your inner child at Adventure Golf and Raceway! There are plenty of activities to choose from such as mini golf, go-karts, bumper cars and more.

The park opens at 10am so let’s get there right when it opens.

There is free parking.

Mini golf is $8.75, Go karts are $8 and bumper cars are $6.25. We can decide as a group which activities to do.

Idaho Springs Hike & Brunch

Needs a location

Idaho Springs hike! This is one of my favorite areas to hike in offering cooler temps and amazing views. Chief Mountain is a moderately challenging hike that is just under 3 miles. The plan is to hike this and then head into the town of Idaho Springs for brunch.

Chief Mountain Trail on AllTrails

Distance: 2.8 miles, 941 ft elevation

Schedule: begin right at 8am because this trail can get busy. Brunch in Idaho Springs at Main Street Restaurant after.

Dogs: allowed but must be on leash

Gear: it can be cooler and windier at the top so layers is best just in case. Water and whatever food you need. There can be snow on the trail this time of year but it’s usually manageable. Your call if you want to bring spikes and/or poles.

Rsvp: keep yours up to date. It’s really sad how many people say they are coming only to no show and keep people on the waitlist from joining. If you can’t come then move to not going.

Parking: the trailhead is off Squaw Pass rd and there is parking on the side of the road.

Fine print: By signing up for this event, you agree to take sole responsibility for your own safety and absolve me of any liability.
